Amy Phillips, MBA
Amy Phillips, MBA is Director of Partnerships. In this role, she is responsible for developing collaborative and inclusive partnerships between the University of Pittsburgh and other private, public, and governmental entities to drive a robust world economy. Previously, she held the role of Business Development Manager in the Innovation Institute and Drug Discovery Institute at the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Phillips joined the University of Pittsburgh in 2001 and has served as a Research Technician in the Departments of Endocrinology and Immunology. She began her business development career at the Office of Enterprise Development (OED) in 2006 as a Technology Analyst through the Heinz Fellowship program and was promoted to Business Development Associate and then to Business Development Manager during her tenure at the OED. Ms. Phillips received her MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and her BS (Molecular Biology) from Westminster College in New Wilmington Pennsylvania.
